First Aid

Emergency First Aid Measures

Critical first aid procedures for chemical exposure incidents and medical emergencies

Inhalation Exposure

Move to fresh air. Treat symptomatically. Call medical help if conditions become noticeable.

Skin Contact

Immediately wash with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Wash clothing before reuse. Thoroughly clean shoes before reuse.

Eye Contact

Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if possible. Continue rinsing.

Ingestion/Swallowing

Rinse mouth with water. DO NOT induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If conscious, give two glasses of water.

Immediate Medical Attention Required

Immediate medical attention required for eye contact, skin contact, and ingestion (product as sold). For inhalation (product as sold) and all routes (product in use concentration), call medical help if conditions become noticeable.

Medical Treatment

Treat symptomatically.

Exposure Controls & Personal Protective Equipment

Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and required safety equipment

Engineering Controls

For the product as sold: Effective exhaust ventilation system. Keeps airborne concentrations below national limit values. For the product in use concentration: Good general ventilation should be sufficient to control exposure to airborne contaminants in the workplace.

Hand Protection

For the product as sold: Recommended preventive skin protection. Gloves (EN 374) made of Nitrile rubber or Butyl rubber. Breakthrough time: 1-4 hours. Minimum thickness for butyl rubber 0.7 mm and for nitrile rubber 0.4 mm or equivalent (consult your glove supplier for advice). Gloves must be discarded and replaced at signs of degradation or chemical breakthrough. For the product in use concentration: No special protective equipment needed.

Eye Protection

For the product as sold: Safety glasses (EN 166) and face shield. For the product in use concentration: No special protective equipment needed.

Respiratory Protection

No respiratory protection required when airborne concentrations are maintained below the exposure limit as stated in the Exposure Limit Information. Use certified respiratory protection conforming to EU requirements (89/656/EEC, (EU) 2016/425), or equivalent, when respiratory risks cannot be avoided or sufficiently limited by collective technical protective measures or by work organization measures, methods, or procedures.

Skin/Body Protection

For the product as sold: Individual protective equipment consisting of suitable protective gloves, safety glasses, and protective clothing including suitable safety shoes (EN 14605). For the product in use concentration: No special protective equipment needed.

Environmental Exposure Controls

Take measures to prevent spreading in case of leakage.
