Het dragen van veiligheidshandschoenen (EN ISO 374) wordt aanbevolen. Preventieve bescherming van de huid door gebruik van een huidbeschermingsmiddel wordt aanbevolen. Handschoenmateriaal: Butylrubber of Nitrilrubber. De keuze van een geschikte handschoen is niet alleen afhankelijk van het materiaal, maar ook van andere kwaliteitskenmerken en verschilt van fabrikant tot fabrikant. Aangezien het product uit meerdere stoffen is samengesteld, is de duurzaamheid van de handschoenmaterialen niet vooraf berekenbaar en moet derhalve vr het gebruik worden getest. Het handschoenmateriaal moet ondoorlatend en bestand zijn tegen het product / de stof / de bereiding. Kies handschoenmateriaal rekening houdend met de penetratietijden, de permeatiegraden en de degradatie. Doordringingstijd van het handschoenmateriaal: De precieze penetratietijd kunt u te weten komen bij de handschoenfabrikant; houd er rekening mee.

Bij normaal gebruik is in het algemeen geen adembescherming nodig. Bij overschrijding van de blootstellingslimieten, evenals bij arosol- en nevelvorming, wordt adembescherming (bijv. een filtermasker met een combinatiefilter voor deeltjes, gassen en organische dampen, kookpunt > 65C, AP2, EN 14387) aanbevolen.
