Exposure Controls / PPE
Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment
Preventieve bescherming van de huid door gebruik van handschoenen wordt aanbevolen. Het handschoenmateriaal moet ondoorlatend en bestand zijn tegen het product / de stof / de bereiding. Kies handschoenmateriaal rekening houdend met de doorbraaktijden, de permeatiegraden en de degradatie. De keuze van een geschikte handschoen is niet alleen afhankelijk van het materiaal, maar ook van andere kwaliteitskenmerken en verschilt van fabrikant tot fabrikant. Aangezien het product uit meerdere stoffen is samengesteld, is de duurzaamheid van de handschoenmaterialen niet vooraf berekenbaar en moet derhalve vr het gebruik worden getest. De geschiktheid (doorbraaktijd, materiaaldikte) voor een specifieke werkplek moet worden overlegd met de fabrikant van de beschermhandschoenen. De precieze doorbraaktijd kunt u te weten komen bij de handschoenfabrikant; houd er rekening mee.
