First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Move to fresh air. In case of irregular breathing or respiratory arrest, apply artificial respiration. If unconscious, place the person on their side. Consult a doctor after significant exposure.
Symptoms: Inhalation can cause central nervous system depression and narcosis. Inhalation can cause the following symptoms: Irregular heartbeat.
Immediately wash with soap and plenty of water. In case of persistent skin irritation, consult a doctor.
Immediately flush with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 10 minutes. Consult an ophthalmologist immediately. Go to an eye hospital if possible.
Rinse mouth with water. Never give anything to an unconscious person to drink (or eat). DO NOT induce vomiting. If vomiting occurs, keep the head low so that vomit does not enter the lungs. Immediately call a doctor.
Symptoms: May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways. May cause drowsiness or dizziness.
Immediate Medical Attention
Consult a doctor after significant exposure (inhalation). Consult an ophthalmologist immediately. Go to an eye hospital if possible (eye contact). Immediately call a doctor (ingestion). The victim may need to remain under medical observation for 48 hours.
