First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Getroffene uit de gevaarlijke omgeving verwijderen, warm houden en rusthouding laten aannemen. Bij ademhalingssymptomen: Een ANTIGIFCENTRUM/arts raadplegen.
Symptoms: Keelpijn. Hoge concentraties: Bijtend voor de luchtwegen. Kan longoedeem veroorzaken. Chemische longontsteking.
Verontreinigde kleding onmiddellijk uittrekken. Spoel de huid onmiddellijk met veel water gedurende 15-20 minuten. Verwijder geen kleding wanneer deze aan de huid kleeft. Bedek de wonden met een steriel verband. Waarschuw een arts. Bij een verbrand oppervlak > 10%: breng het slachtoffer naar het ziekenhuis.
Symptoms: Veroorzaakt brandwonden.
Onmiddellijk spoelen met een oogspoelmiddel of met schoon water gedurende tenminste 10 minuten; hierbij de oogleden van elkaar houden. Contactlenzen verwijderen, indien mogelijk. Blijven spoelen. Arts waarschuwen en doorgaan met spoelen totdat arts arriveert. Onmiddellijk een ANTIGIFCENTRUM/arts/ raadplegen.
Symptoms: Kan ernstige schade veroorzaken, waarbij hoornvliesontsteking en blijvende schade aan het gezichtsvermogen kunnen optreden. Blindheid.
Mond laten spoelen met water. Nooit een bewusteloze te drinken geven wegens kans op verstikking. GEEN braken opwekken. Onmiddellijk een ANTIGIFCENTRUM/arts/ raadplegen.
Symptoms: Veroorzaakt onmiddellijk etsing en beschadiging van het spijsverteringskanaal. Mogelijke symptomen zijn: Buikpijn, Misselijkheid, Diarree, Hoesten, Bloederig overgeven. Veroorzaakt kortademigheid.
Immediate Medical Attention
Onmiddellijk een ANTIGIFCENTRUM/arts/ raadplegen. Bij een verbrand oppervlak > 10%: breng het slachtoffer naar het ziekenhuis. Arts waarschuwen en doorgaan met spoelen totdat arts arriveert (bij oogcontact).
