Bij langdurige blootstelling aan stof dient een persoonlijke ademhalingsbescherming te worden gedragen die voldoet aan de nationale wetgeving. Aanbevolen filter: Filter P1 (volgens DIN 3181) voor vaste stof deeltjes of inert materiaal. Wanneer luchtconcentraties worden verwacht die boven de toegestane limiet liggen moet ademhalingsbescherming worden gebruikt.
