Chemicaliënbestendige handschoenen (EN 374). Geschikte materialen, ook bij langer en direct contact (aanbevolen: beschermingsindex 6, overeenkomstig > 480 minuten doordringingstijd / permeatie volgens EN 374): fluorelastomeer (FKM) - 0,7 mm laagdikte, butylrubber - 0,7 mm laagdikte, polyvinylchloride (PVC) - 0,7 mm laagdikte, nitrilrubber (NBR) - 0,4 mm laagdikte, chloropreenrubber (CR) - 0,5 mm laagdikte. Geschikte materialen bij korttijdig contact (aanbevolen: tenminste beschermingsindex 2, overeenkomstig > 30 minuten doordringbaarheidstijd / permeatie volgens EN 374): Natuurrubber/Natuurlatex (NR) - 0,5 mm laagdikte. De gegevens zijn gebaseerd op eigen proeven, literatuurgegevens en informatie van handschoenproducenten of afgeleid van soortgelijke stoffen. Vanwege meerdere factoren die van invloed kunnen zijn (bv. temperatuur) moet rekening worden gehouden met het feit dat de gebruiksduur van een chemicaliënhandschoen in de praktijk aanzienlijk korter kan zijn dan de door de test aangegeven permeatietijd. Wegens de grote verscheidenheid aan types gelden de gebruiksaanwijzigingen van de producent.
