First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
In de frisse lucht brengen. Het slachtoffer warm en rustig houden. Indien symptomen aanhouden, een arts raadplegen.

Met veel water en zeep afwassen, indien voor handen, met veel polyethyleenglykol 400. Vervolgens reinigen met water. Indien symptomen aanhouden, een arts raadplegen.

Na contact met de ogen, contactlenzen uitnemen. Onmiddellijk met overvloedig water spoelen, ook onder de oogleden, gedurende tenminste 15 minuten. Medische hulp inroepen als irritatie optreedt en aanhoudt.

GEEN braken opwecken. Braken opwecken, alleen als: 1. patient bij vol bewustzijn is, 2. medische hulp niet snel bereikbaar is, 3. een grotere hoeveelheid ingeslikt is, en 4. tijd sinds inslikken minder dan een uur bedraagt. (Braaksel mag niet in luchtpijp terecht kommen.) Mond spoelen. Het slachtoffer warm en rustig houden.
Symptoms: mild acidose, tachycardie, Onregelmatige hartslag, verlaagde bloeddruk, Sterke bloeddrukval, hoest, Ademnood, Braken, Diarree, Buikpijn, rhabdomyolyse, Misselijkheid, somnolentie, coma, Koorts, Stuiptrekkingen
Immediate Medical Attention
Indien symptomen aanhouden, een arts raadplegen. Medische hulp inroepen als irritatie optreedt en aanhoudt.
Medical Treatment
Lokale behandeling: Behandel symptomatisch. Systemische behandeling: Bij inname van een grotere hoeveelheid, volgende maatregelen nemen: Maag spoelen met toediening van actieve koolstof, eventueel verdere behandeling. Uitscheiding door middel van geforceerde alkalische diurese.

Geen persoonlijke adembescherming vereist bij normaal gebruik. Adembescherming behoort alleen gebruikt te worden ter beheersing van een restrisiko bij activiteiten van korte diur, nadat alle stappen om blootstelling ter plekke te beperken zijn genomen, zoals afsluiting en/of plaatselijke luchtafzuiging. De aanwijzingen van de fabrikant voor gebruik en onderhoud van het ademhalingstoestel altijd nauwkeurig aanhouden.
Standaard overall met Type 3 beschermingspak dragen. Waar mogelijk kleding in twee lagen dragen: Onder het beschernende pak een overall van polyester/katoen of alleen katoen dragen. Overalls regelmatig professioneel laten reinigen.
