Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Indien symptomen aanhouden, een arts raadplegen. In de frisse lucht brengen. Het slachtoffer warm en rustig houden.
Symptoms: Irritatie, hoest
Verontreinigde kleding en schoenen onmiddellijk uittrekken. Onmiddellijk langdurig met zeep en veel water wassen. Na huidcontact vitamine E-creme of huidmelk opbrengen. Indien symptomen aanhouden, een arts raadplegen.
Symptoms: mogelijk ernstige paresthesie, irritatie van de huid en slijmvliezen
Bij aanraking met de ogen onmiddellijk met veel water afspoelen en deskundig medisch advies inwinnen.

Medical Treatment
Lokale behandeling: Behandel symptomatisch. Systemische behandeling: Luchtpijp intubatie en maagspoeling, aansluitend geactiveerde kool toedienen. Bewaking van ademhaling en hartfunctie. ECG-controle (elektrocardiogram). Bij inhalatie op longoedeem controleren. Luchtwegen vrijhouden, waar nodig beademing verrichten. Tegen krampen: Diazepam intraveneus. Volwassenen: 5-10 mg, kinderen 2-5 mg, zo vaak als nodig herhalen tot sedatie volledig is.

De aanwijzingen van de fabrikant voor gebruik en onderhoud van het ademhalingstoestel altijd nauwkeurig aanhouden.
Standaard overall met Type 6 beschermingspak dragen. Waar mogelijk kleding in twee lagen dragen: Onder het beschermende pak een overall van polyester/katoen of alleen katoen dragen. Overalls regelmatig professioneel laten reinigen.
