Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment
Technische maatregelen en geschikte werkprocedures zouden prioriteit moeten hebben boven het gebruik van persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen. Enkel gebruiken met geschikte explosieveilige ventilatie, er zorg voor dragend dat de aanwezige contaminanten in de lucht te allen tijde onder de aanbevolen grenswaarden blijven voor de werknemer. De technische maatregelen moeten er ook voor zorgen dat gas-, damp- en stofconcentraties onder de lage ontploffingsgrenzen blijven.
Vermijd contact met de huid. Met handschoenen hanteren. Handschoenen voor gebruik goed controleren. Gebruik een goede techniek om de handschoenen na gebruik deskundig uit te trekken, zonder de buitenkant van de handschoenen aan te raken, om contact met de huid te vermijden. Gebruikte handschoenen onmiddellijk weggooien in overeenstemming met de plaatselijk geldende wetten en goede laboratoriumpraktijken. Was en droog de handen. Spat contact: Materiaal: Nitrilrubber, Minimale laagdikte: 0,11mm, Doorbraaktijd: 30 min. De te gebruiken beschermhandschoenen moeten voldoen aan de specificaties van EU-Richtlijn 89/686/EEG en de norm EN374, die daarvan is afgeleid. Deze aanbevelingen hebben alleen betrekking op het in dit veiligheidsinformatieblad genoemde product voor de beschreven toepassingen. Wanneer dit product wordt opgelost in, of gemengd met andere producten of onder andere omstandigheden dan vermeld in norm EN374, neem dan contact op met de leverancier van de CE richtlijnen goedgekeurde handschoenen. Deze aanbevelingen zijn louter adviserend.
Nauw aansluitende veiligheidsbril met zijbescherming. Gebruik enkel gezichtsbescherming en oogbescherming getest en gekeurd door officiële instellingen (bv. EN166).
Nodig wanneer dampen/aerosolen gevormd worden. Gebruik in dit geval een volledig gezicht ademhalingsmasker met een (US) en/of type AXBEK (EN14387)filterpatroon. Als het gelaatsmasker het enige middel van bescherming is, gebruik een volledig-gezicht ademhalingsmasker (zuurstofmasker). Gebruik ademhalingsmaskers onderhouden, getest en goedgekeurd volgens de voorschriften van de leverancier onder het toezicht van officiële overheidsinstanties zoals bv. CEN.
Vermijd contact met de kleding. Draag antistatische en vlamvertragende kledij voor bescherming tegen chemicaliën.
Product niet in de riolering laten komen. Afvoer in het milieu moet worden voorkomen.
