First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Onmiddellijk een arts bellen. Frisse lucht laten inademen. Als men vermoed dat er nog dampen aanwezig zijn dient de nijverheidshelper een geschikt masker of een autonoom ademluchttoestel te dragen. Laat het slachtoffer rusten. In geval van ademhalingsstilstand kunstmatige beademing toepassen. Mond-op-mondbeademing is verboden (mogelijke vergiftiging van de EHBO-er). Plaats het slachtoffer in een veilige zijpositie. De luchtwegen vrijhouden. Maak strak zittende kleding los, zoals een overhemdboord, das, riem of ceintuur.
Symptoms: Brandwonden van luchtwegen. In extreme gevallen, de dood.
Raadpleeg een arts. Onmiddellijk gedurende minimaal 20 - 30 minuten met overvloedig water wassen. Besmette kleding en schoenen uittrekken. Chemische brandwonden dienen onmiddellijk verzorgd te worden door een geneesheer.
Symptoms: Veroorzaakt brandwonden. Risico van ernstig onomkeerbaar letsel.

Symptoms: Buikpijn. Misselijkheid. Kan brandwonden of een irritatie van de mondwand, de keel, de maag en darmkanaal veroorzaken. In extreme gevallen, de dood.
Immediate Medical Attention
Onmiddellijk een arts bellen/raadplegen voor alle blootstellingsroutes. Chemische brandwonden dienen onmiddellijk verzorgd te worden door een geneesheer.

Kunstmatige beademing toepassen in geval van ademhalingsstilstand. Chemische brandwonden dienen onmiddellijk verzorgd te worden door een geneesheer.
