Beschermingshandschoenen tegen chemicalien moeten in hun uitvoering afhankelijk van de concentatie van de gevaarlijke en -hoeveelheid speciaal voor de werkplek uitgekozen worden. Het wordt aanbevolen zich over de bestendigheid tegen chemicalin van de bovengenoemde beschermingshandschoenen voor speciaal gebruik met de handschoenenfabrikant te laten informeren. Aanbeveling aan EN 374: Wijziging van butyl rubber / nitril rubber (0,4 mm), moet Verontreinigde handschoenen worden verwijderd: voor korte tijd gebruik of bescherming tegen spatten. Voor permanente blootstelling: Viton (0,4 mm), doorbraaktijd> 30 min.
