Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
In de frisse lucht brengen. Pas geassisteerde ademhaling toe als de ademhaling tot stilstand is gekomen of bij zware ademhaling. Ook moet mogelijk extra zuurstof worden toegediend. Als het hart tot stilstand is gekomen, moet getraind personeel onmiddellijk overgaan tot cardiopulmonaire resuscitatie. In geval van ademnood zuurstof toedienen.
Symptoms: Zware ademhaling, ademnood, ademhaling tot stilstand is gekomen, hart tot stilstand is gekomen.
In geval van bevriezings letsel onmiddellijk medische hulp inroepen. Zo vlug mogelijk het getroffen deel in een warm waterbad met een temperatuur van maximum 40 C (105 F) plaatsen. Niet wrijven op de bevroren lichaamsdelen omdat weefselbeschadiging kan optreden. De wond steriel afdekken.
Bij aanraking met de ogen onmiddellijk met veel water spoelen en deskundig medisch advies inwinnen. Tijdens spoelen ogen goed open houden.

Gebruik persluchtapparatuur. Ademhalingstoestellen die de lucht zuiveren bieden geen bescherming. Gebruikers van ademhalingsapparatuur (perslucht) moeten geoefend zijn.
Tijdens het werken met cilinders is het aangeraden veiligheidsschoenen te dragen.
