Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Bij bewusteloosheid stabiele zijligging toepassen en medische hulp inroepen. Ademhalingswegen vrijhouden. Indien symptomen aanhouden, een arts raadplegen.
Symptoms: Schadelijk bij inademing. Kan bij inademing allergie- of astmasymptomen of ademhalingsmoeilijkheden veroorzaken. Kan slaperigheid of duizeligheid veroorzaken.
Onmiddellijk afwassen met zeep en veel water en alle verontreinigde kleding en schoenen uittrekken. Onmiddellijke medische behandeling is noodzakelijk, omdat onbehandelde huidaantasting langzaam en moeilijk te genezen wonden veroorzaakt.
Symptoms: Veroorzaakt ernstige brandwonden.
Bij aanraking met de ogen onmiddellijk met veel water spoelen en medisch advies inwinnen. Contactlenzen uitnemen. Onbeschadigd oog beschermen.
Symptoms: Bij kleine spatjes in de ogen kan onherroepelijke weefselschade en blindheid ontstaan. Veroorzaakt ernstig oogletsel.
Bij inslikken direct medische hulp inroepen. Mond spoelen met water. Nooit een bewusteloos persoon laten drinken (of eten).
Symptoms: Schadelijk bij inslikken.
