First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Na inademing van nevels of dampen zorgen voor frisse lucht; de ademhalingswegen vrijhouden. Zo spoedig mogelijk dexamethasonspray laten inademen. rust, warmte evt. kunstmatige ademhaling. Bij ademnood zuurstof laten inademen. Bij ademhalings en bloedsomloopstilstand het hart en de longen reanimeren.
Symptoms: allergie of astmasymptomen of ademhalingsmoeilijkheden
Verontreinigde kleding onmiddellijk uittrekken. Getroffen huid/slijmvlies grondig ten minste 15 minuten met stromend water afspoelen. Indien mogelijk, zeep gebruiken. Niet proberen te neutraliseren. Evt. een los verband aanleggen.
Na oogcontact onder stromend water bij een wijd geopend ooglid het getroffen oog terwijl het niet geraakte oog wordt beschermd ten minste 10 minuten met een ogenspoelflesje, ogendouche of stromend water spoelen. Bij pijn om de ooglidkramp te verhelpen vooraf voor zover mogelijk oogdruppels met proxymetacaine 0,5% (bijv. proparacaine POS) inbrengen. Vervolgens een los verband aanleggen. Verder laten behandelen door een oogarts.
Symptoms: ernstige oogirritatie
Na inslikken onmiddellijk ruim water met toevoeging van actieve kool laten drinken. In geen geval braken stimuleren. Niet proberen te neutraliseren. Evt. mogelijke nawerkingen met de arts bespreken.
Immediate Medical Attention
Bij HUIDCONTACT is snel, langdurig afspoelen met water noodzakelijk. Na ontstekingsreacties toepassing van glucocorticosteroden. Bij OOGCONTACT is snel, langdurig uitspoelen met water noodzakelijk. Ooglidkramp verhelpende maatregelen. De bijtende stoffen benoemen. Verdere behandeling door een oogarts. Informeer de patint eventueel over verdere maatregelen en mogelijke schade op de lange termijn.
