First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
In frisse lucht laten ademen. Houd slachtoffer rustig in halfzittende houding. In geval van ademhalingsstilstand, kunstmatige ademhaling toepassen. Een arts raadplegen.
Symptoms: Depressie van het centraal zenuwstelsel, hoofdpijn, duizeligheid, slaperigheid, verlies van cordinatievermogen. Pijnlijke keel. Hoest. Ademhalingsmoeilijkheden. Duizeligheid. Bewusteloosheid. Misselijkheid. Braken.
Besmette kleding en schoenen uittrekken. Onmiddellijk spoelen met veel water. Medische hulp inroepen indien de irritatie blijft.
Symptoms: Het herhaald of langdurig huidcontact kan huidontsteking of ontvetting veroorzaken. Roodheid, pijn.
Spoel onmiddellijk de ogen grondig met water gedurende minstens 15 minuten. Contactlenzen verwijderen, indien mogelijk. Blijven spoelen. Een oogarts raadplegen.
Symptoms: Veroorzaakt ernstige oogirritatie. Roodheid, pijn. Vage visie.
Niet laten braken. Mond met water spoelen. Water te drinken geven indien het slachtoffer volledig bij bewustzijn/ alert is. Een arts raadplegen. / Naar het ziekenhuis voeren.
Symptoms: Irritatie aan de mond, de keel, de slokdarm en de maag. Buikpijn, misselijkheid. Braken. Kan aanleiding geven tot een opname door de longen, met een longontsteking als gevolg. Risico op longoedeem.
Immediate Medical Attention
Altijd een arts raadplegen bij twijfel of aanhoudende verschijnselen. Medische hulp inroepen indien de irritatie blijft. Een oogarts raadplegen. Naar het ziekenhuis voeren.
