First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
De persoon in de frisse lucht brengen en ervoor zorgen dat deze gemakkelijk kan ademen. Kunstmatige ademhaling toepassen als het slachtoffer het bewustzijn verloren heeft. Mond-op-mondbeademing wordt afgeraden. Een dokter laten komen.
Symptoms: Dampen irriteren de luchtwegen. De symptomen zijn hoesten, brandend gevoel en verstikking.
Verontreinigde kleding onmiddellijk uittrekken. Onmiddellijk een arts bellen. Huid met water afspoelen/afdouchen. In geval van contact met de huid, met rubber handschoenen 2.5% calcium gluconaat gel continu inwrijven op de betreffende gebied gedurende 1.5 uur of tot verdere medische assistentie beschikbaar is.
Symptoms: Brandwonden.
Voorzichtig afspoelen met water gedurende een aantal minuten. Contactlenzen verwijderen, indien mogelijk. Blijven spoelen. Onmiddellijk een arts bellen.
Symptoms: Ernstig oogletsel.
De mond spoelen. Onmiddellijk een arts bellen. Niet laten braken.
Symptoms: Brandwonden.
Immediate Medical Attention
Onmiddellijk een arts waarschuwen, ook als er geen directe symptomen zijn waar te nemen. Ongeacht de ernst van de aanraking een arts moet raadplegen.
