Inhalation Exposure
bij hebive inhalatie van stof of dampen dient men het slachtoffer in open lucht te brengen en laten bekommen. Onmiddellijk een dokter raadplegen.
Skin Contact
onmiddellijk overvloedig spoelen met water. Verwijder de vervuilde kledij en was deze alvorens ze opneuw te dragen. Raadpleeg een arts bij aanhoudende huidirritatie of huiduitslag.
Eye Contact
onmiddellijk en overvloedig spoelen met water gedurende 15 minuten, de oogleden open houden en contaminatie van het niet-geinfecteerd oog vermijden. Raadpleeg een arts.
Ingestion/Swallowing
Het braken absoluut NIET stimuleren. De mond spoelen met water, maar persoon in kwestie niet laten drinken. Een dokter raadplegen.

Engineering Controls
Een gesloten straalcabine met een afscheiding en verzameling van de stofdeeltjes is de te verkiezen gebruiksmethode. De vorming van stof minimaliseren bij het laden of het hanteren van het straalmiddel. Indien er een straalhal gebruikt wordt, moet die voorzien zijn van een explosievrij extractie- en filtersysteem voor de stofdeeltjes volgens de aangeweden normen van verluchting. Alleen gebruiken bij voldoende ventilatie. Wanneer door de handelingen van de gebruiker stof, rook of gas ontstaat, gebruik dan een gesloten installatie, lokale afzuiging of andere technische controlemiddelen om beroepsmatige brootstelling beneden alle aanbevolen of wettelijke grenswaarden te houden. De technische installations moeten voldoen aan de geldende CE wetgeving.
Hand Protection
Chemicalien resistente handschoenen, gecertifieerd volgens EN 374 of een equivalent moeten gebruikt worden om contact met de huid te vermijden.
Eye Protection
Een veiligheidshelm met frontaal beschermvizier voor de ogen (gelaatsscherm) is sterk aangewesen teneinde zich te beschernen bij het eventueel vormen van stof tijdens het werkproces (in overeenstemming met de resp. geldende Europese normen NBN EN 397+41 & EN 166).
Respiratory Protection
Een helm met luchttoevoer is noodzakelijk bij het zandstralen met vrije straal (conform de geldende norm EN14594 die van toepassing is). In het algemeen, het dragen van een antistofmasker bij hantering.
Skin/Body Protection
Het dragen van een veiligheidsoverall, handschoenen, veiligheidsschoenen en een helm met luchttoevoer bij vrij stralen. Draag geschikte veiligheidsschoenen in overeenstemming met de geldende Europese norm EN ISO 20345 / DIN EN 345-1.
Environmental Exposure Controls
Er is geen specifieke communautaire wetgeving inzake milieubescherming van kracht voor het geïdentificeerd gebruik. Wanneer het werkproces niet volledig afgesloten verloopt tijdens de normale werking van de machine moeten de insluiting en/of ontruimingsvoorzieningen worden geplaatst waar zijn een maximaal effect hebben. In geval van een accidentele verspreiding, gelieve rubriek 6 te raadplegen voor de te treffen beheersmaatregelen.
