In geval van langdurig gebruik of bij gevoelige huid, waarbij irritatie mogelijk kan zijn, wordt toch aangeraden handschoenen te gebruiken. Houdt bij de keuze van handschoenen altijd rekening met gebruiker specifieke omstandigheden zoals mechanische belasting (snijden, doorboren, enz.), contacttijd, temperatuur, gebruik van andere chemicaliën, enz. In overleg met de leverancier van beschermende handschoenen kan een type gekozen worden, die voldoende bescherming geeft. Controleer altijd de instructies betreffende doorbraaktijd en materiaalsoort en -dikte, zoals gegeven door de handschoenen leverancier.
