First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Onmiddellijke medische verzorging is vereist. Het slachtoffer in frisse lucht brengen. Als het slachtoffer niet ademt, kunstmatige beademing toepassen. Direct contact met de huid vermijden. Bescherming gebruiken bij het geven van mond-op-mondbeademing.
Onmiddellijk afspoelen met veel water en zeep en alle verontreinigde kleding en schoenen uittrekken.
Onmiddellijk spoelen met veel water. Na initieel spoelen eventuele contactlenzen verwijderen en gedurende minstens 15 minuten doorgaan met spoelen. Oog tijdens spoelen wijd geopend houden. Onmiddellijk een arts raadplegen.
GEEN braken opwekken. Onmiddellijk contact opnemen met een arts of een vergiftigingencentrum. Bij een bewusteloos persoon nooit iets via de mond toedienen. Veel water drinken.

De meeste dampen zijn zwaarder dan lucht. Ze verplaatsen zich over de grond en hopen zich op in lage of besloten ruimten (riolen, kelders, tanks). Dampen kunnen explosieve mengsels vormen met lucht. Ontvlambaar.
Gebied evacueren en de brand vanaf een veilige afstand bestrijden.
Firefighter Protection
Net als bij iedere brand, onafhankelijke ademhalingsapparatuur gebruiken, werkend onder overdruk, goedgekeurd door MSHA/NIOSH of gelijkwaardig en volledig beschermende uitrusting dragen.
