Maatregelen tegen elektrostatische oplading treffen. Voor goede ruimtebeluchting zorgen, ook in bodembereik (dampen zijn zwaarder dan lucht). De bij omgang met chemicaliën gebruikelijke veiligheidsmaatregelen hanteren. Dampen niet inademen. Aanraking met de huid vermijden.
In origineelverpakking goed gesloten houden. Opslagruimte goed beluchten. Op een koele, goed geventileerde plaats, verwijderd van zuren of logen bewaren. Tegen lichtinwerking beschermen. Niet aan warme langere warmte inwerking blootstellen. Koel opslaan, verhitting leidt tot drukverhoging en barstgevaar.
Niet eten en drinken tijdens het werk. Vervuilde kleding meteen uittrekken. Na het werk grondig wassen.
Van ontstekingsbronnen verwijderd houden - Niet roken. Het product is licht ontvlambaar. Maatregelen tegen elektrostatische oplading treffen. Vorming explosieve gasmengsels met lucht.
