Beschermingshandschoenen tegen chemicaliën moeten in hun uitvoering afhankelijk van de concentratie van de gevaarlijke en -hoeveelheid speciaal voor de werkplek uitgekozen worden. Het wordt aanbevolen zich over de bestendigheid tegen chemicaliën van de bovengenoemde beschermingshandschoenen voor speciaal gebruik met de handschoenenfabrikant te laten informeren. Chemisch bestendige beschermende handschoenen (EN 374), Geschikte materialen voor kortstondig contact of spatten (aanbevolen: minimaal beschermingsindex 2, overeenkomend met > 30 minuten permeatie volgens EN 374), bijv.
