Veel verse lucht toedienen en voor alle zekerheid een arts raadplegen.
Onmiddellijk met water en zeep afwassen en goed naspoelen.
Ogen bij geopend ooglid meerdere minuten met stromend water spoelen
Mond spoelen en overvloedig water drinken. Geen braken opwekken. Nooit iets door de mond opgeven aan een bewusteloos persoon.

CO2, bluspoeder of waterstraal. Grotere brand met waterstraal bestrijden of met schuim, dat tegen alcohol bestand is.

Bij een brand kan vrijkomen: Stikoxyde (NOx), Ammoniak, Koolmonoxide (CO)+ Kooldioxide (CO2). Onder bepaalde brandomstandigheden mogen sporen van andere giftige stoffen niet worden uitgesloten.
