First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Verwijderen van verdere blootstelling. Indien irritatie bij de ademhaling, duizeligheid, misselijkheid of bewusteloosheid optreedt, direct arts waarschuwen. Als de ademhaling is gestopt, geef zuurstof door middel van een beademingsballon of door mond op mond beademing.

Medical Treatment
Dit product bevat methanol, ethyleenglycol of diethyleenglycol (zie paragraaf 2) die bij inslikken, omgezet wordt tot giftige metabolieten door de enzym alcohol dehydrogenase, waar ethanol een vergelijkende antagonist is. Orale of intraveneuze toediening van ethanol kan verdere metabolisme van deze stoffen tegenhouden. Gebruik van ethanol heeft geen invloed op giftige metabolieten, die al aanwezig zijn en is geen vervanger voor hemodialyse. Stof kan bij opname in de longen chemische longontsteking veroorzaken. Behandel dienovereenkomstig.
