Gebruik een brandblusmiddel dat geschikt is voor de brandbare materialen in de omgeving.
Ecomab textiel bevat echter, afhankelijk va het product maximaal 20% viscose (organische vezel). Deze organische vezel brandt bij verhitting weg (bij ca. 200°C). Dit kan rook of zelfs kortstondig een vlam veroorzaken. Dit is een éénmalige gebeurtenis.

Normaliseer de situatie zo snel mogelijk.
Pak grote stukken op en gebruik een stofzuiger met een zeer efficiënt filter (absoluutfilter). Als een borstel wordt gebruikt, zorg er dan voor dat het gebied eerst vochtig is gemaakt. Gebruik geen perslucht voor het opruimen.
