First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Bij ongemak ter gevolge van een belangrijke blootstelling aan de dampen moet het slachtoffer onmiddellijk in de vrije lucht gebracht worden.
Bij blootstelling aan spatten van het warme product, de verbranden delen onmiddellijk afkoelen met koud water, door onderdompeling of besprenkelen. De aan de huid klevende laag niet aftrekken, aangezien het bekomen vel dan kan scheuren; over het algemeen laat het product vanzelf los na enkele dagen.
De ogen onmiddellijk en overvloedige spoelen gedurende minstens 10 minuten.
Kalm houden.

In geval van brand op de werkplek, de voorraad emulsie afkoelen om te voorkomen dat deze gaat koken en gaat overlopen tengevolge van schuim dat zich kan vormen.

Dicht de lekken. Vermijd het weglopen van het product door een zand- of aarde dam. Na het breken (stollen) het product verzamelen in een geschikt vat met een duidelijk zichtbare markering met betrekking tot de recuperatie of eliminatie conform de geldende voorschriften.
