In de frisse lucht brengen na per ongeluk inademen van stof of rook veroorzaakt door oververhitting of verbranding. Indien symptomen aanhouden, een arts raadplegen.
Verontreinigde kleding en schoenen onmiddellijk uittrekken. Langdurig met zeep en veel water afwassen.
Onbeschadigd oog beschermen. Onmiddellijk met veel water spoelen, ook onder de oogleden, gedurende tenminste 15 minuten. Als voorzorgsmaatregel de ogen spoelen met water. Contactlenzen uittrekken. Tijdens spoelen ogen goed open houden.

Mond reinigen met water en daarna veel water drinken. Nooit een bewusteloos persoon laten drinken (of eten).
