First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Het slachtoffer in frisse lucht brengen. Als het slachtoffer niet ademt, kunstmatige beademing toepassen. Medische hulp inroepen indien symptomen optreden.

Skin contact

Onmiddellijk afspoelen met veel water gedurende minstens 15 minuten. Een arts raadplegen indien huidirritatie aanhoudt.

Eye contact

Onmiddellijk spoelen met veel water, ook onder de oogleden, gedurende minstens 15 minuten. Medische hulp inroepen.

Ingestion

Mond schoonmaken met water en daarna veel water drinken.

Medical Treatment

De symptomen behandelen.

Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements

Handling

Persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen/gelaatsbescherming dragen. Zorgen voor voldoende ventilatie. Contact met de ogen, de huid of de kleding vermijden. Vermijd inslikken en inademen.

Storage

In goed gesloten verpakkingen bewaren op een droge, koele en goed geventileerde plaats. Bewaren onder inerte atmosfeer. Tegen vocht beschermen.

Exposure Controls / PPE

Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment

Engineering

Zorgen voor oogdouches en veiligheidsdouches vlakbij de werkplek. Zorgen voor voldoende ventilatie, met name in besloten ruimten. Waar mogelijk moeten technische beheersmaatregelen worden toegepast om emissie van gevaarlijke stoffen bij de bron te voorkomen. Voorbeelden van technische beheersmaatregelen zijn: isolatie of afsluiting van het proces, het aanbrengen van wijzigingen in het proces of de apparatuur om emissie of contact te minimaliseren, en het gebruik van goed ontworpen afzuigsystemen.

Hands

Beschermende handschoenen. Materiaal: Natuurlijk rubber, Nitrilrubber, Neopreen, PVC. Doorbraaktijd: Zie aanbevelingen van de fabrikant. EU-norm: EN 374. Inspecteer de handschoenen voor gebruik. Neem de voorschriften in acht over doorlaatbaarheid en doordrenkingstijd, zoals aangeleverd door de leverancier van de handschoenen. (Raadpleeg fabrikant / leverancier voor informatie). Zorg ervoor dat handschoenen zijn geschikt voor de taak. Chemische compatibiliteit, behendigheid, Operationele voorwaarden. Houd ook rekening met specifieke plaatselijke gebruiksomstandigheden, zoals gevaar voor insnijdingen, slijtage en aanraking. Verwijder handschoenen met zorg het vermijden van contaminatie van de huid.

Blijf zorgen voor voldoende ventilatie.
