Handling and Storage
Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements
Uitsluitend op goed geventileerde plaatsen gebruiken. Persoonlijk beschermingsuitrusting gebruiken (zie rubriek 8). Het wordt aanbevolen alle werkprocedures zo te organiseren, dat het volgende uitgesloten is: Sterke zuren, Sterk oxiderende stoffen
In gesloten verpakking op een koele en goed geventileerde plaats bewaren. Verwijderd houden van: Hitte, UV-instraling/zonlicht. Niet opslaan bij temperaturen boven 50 °C / 122 °F. Afgesloten en voor kinderen ontoegankelijk bewaren.
Voor werkpauze en werkeinde handen wassen.
Heet product ontwikkelt brandbare dampen. Dampen zijn zwaarder dan lucht, spreiden zich over de vloer uit en vormen in combinatie met lucht explosieve mengsels. Uit de buurt houden van warmtebronnen (b.v. hete oppervlakken), vonken en open vuur.
Exposure Controls / PPE
Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment
Technische maatregelen en de toepassing van geschikte arbeidsmethoden hebben voorrang boven het gebruik van persoonlijke beschermingsuitrustingen. Beperk de blootstelling aan rook door het aanhouden van zo laag mogelijke gebruikstemperaturen en neem in dit verband de geldende werkplekbegrenzingen alsmede de als veilig te beschouwen hanteringstemperaturen in acht. Waar mogelijk in gesloten systemen verwerken. Alternatief moet een lokale afzuiginstallatie worden overwogen.
Er moeten geteste beschermingshandschoenen gedragen worden (EN ISO 374). Geschikt materiaal: NBR (Nitrilrubber), Butylrubber. Bij gepland hergebruik handschoenen voor het uittrekken reinigen en goed geventileerd bewaren. Met doorbraaktijden en kweleigenschappen moet rekening gehouden worden.
Montuurbril met zijbescherming dragen EN 166.
