Het hanteren van dit product kan een bron zijn van stofafgave en daarom zullen de processen zo moeten zijn ontworpen dat hantering tot een minimum wordt beperkt. Wanneer mogelijk zal hantering moeten gebeuren onder gecontroleerde omstandigheden (gebruik bv een stofafzuigssysteem). Regelmatig goed schoonmaken zal de neerslag van stof minimaliseren.

Exposure Controls / PPE
Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment
Controleer uw toepassingen om potentiële bronnen van blootstelling aan stof te identificeren. Gebruik plaatselijke afzuiging, die het stof bij de bron verzameld. Bijvoorbeeld werkbanken met afzuiging, gereedschappen die de emissie controleren en handling apparatuur.

Draag, wanneer nodig, een (veiligheids)bril met dichte zijkanten.
Bij stofconcentraties beneden de grenswaarden is een RPE niet verplicht, maar een FFP2 masker mag op vrijwillige basis worden gebruikt. Voor kortdurende handelingen waarbij de waarden beneden 10 x de limit blijven moeten FFP2 maskers ingezet worden. Bij hogere concentraties of waarbij deze niet bekend is dient u de hulp in te roepen van uw management en/of uw Thermal Ceramics leverancier.
Draag werkkleding die ruim valt rond hals en polsen. Vervuilde kleding moet worden ontdaan van vezeldeeltjes voordat deze wordt uitgetrokken (d.m.v. stofzuigen, gebruik geen perslucht).
Raadpleeg lokale, nationale of Europese wet- en regelgeving aangaande milieubescherming. Voor instructies aangaande afvalverwijdering, zie sectie 13.
