First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Breng het slachtoffer in de frisse lucht. Bij ademhalingsproblemen: arts/medische dienst raadplegen.

Symptoms: Hoesten. BIJ VERHITTEN: Irritatie luchtwegen. Neusslijmvliesirritatie.

Skin contact

Spoelen met water. Gebruik van zeep toegestaan. Slachtoffer naar arts brengen als irritatie aanhoudt.

Eye contact

Spoelen met water. Contactlenzen verwijderen, indien mogelijk. Blijven spoelen. Slachtoffer naar oogarts brengen als irritatie aanhoudt.

Symptoms: Lichte irritatie.

Ingestion

Mond spoelen met water. Zo vlug mogelijk na inname: veel water laten drinken. Antigifcentrum raadplegen (www.who.int/ipcs/poisons/centre/directory/en). Indien men zich onwel voelt: medische dienst/arts raadplegen.

Symptoms: Misselijkheid. Braken. Diarree. NA INNAME VAN GROTE HOEVEELHEDEN: Hoofdpijn. Dehydratatie. Hartritmestoornissen. Veranderingen in bloedbeeld of -samenstelling. Verminderde nierfunctie.

Immediate Medical Attention

Afhankelijk van de toestand: arts/ziekenhuis. Bij inname van grote hoeveelheden: snel naar ziekenhuis.
