First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Voor verse lucht zorgen. Onmiddellijk deskundig medisch advies inwinnen. Bij bewusteloosheid vervoer en stabiele zijligging.

Skin contact

Na contact met het gesmolten product snel met koud water afkoelen. Het gestolde product niet van de huid aftrekken. Onmiddellijk met water en aangepaste zeep afwassen en goed naspoelen. Deskundige medische behandeling inschakelen.

Eye contact

Ogen bij geopend ooglid een aantal minuten met stromend water spoelen. Een arts raadplegen.

Ingestion

Mond spoelen en overvloedig water drinken. Geen braken opwekken doch onmiddellijk bijstand van arts inroepen.

Immediate Medical Attention

Onmiddellijk deskundig medisch advies inwinnen bij inademen, deskundige medische behandeling inschakelen bij huidcontact, arts raadplegen bij oogcontact, onmiddellijk bijstand van arts inroepen bij inslikken.

Medical Treatment

Therapeutische maatregelen: basishulpverlening, decontaminatie, symptomatische behandeling

Enkel beschermende handschoenen voor chemicaliën gebruiken met een CE-kenteken categorie III (EN 374). Handschoenmateriaal: Nitrilrubber (Aanbevolen materiaaldikte: ≥ 0,425 mm, Waarde voor de permeatie: >480 min), Fluor rubber (Viton) / Butyl rubber (Aanbevolen materiaaldikte: ≥ 0,7 mm, Waarde voor de permeatie: >480 min). De keuze van een geschikte handschoen is niet alleen afhankelijk van het materiaal, maar ook van andere kwaliteitskenmerken en verschil van fabrikant tot fabrikant. De precieze penetratietijd kunt u te weten komen bij de handschoenfabrikant; houd er rekening mee. Voor een langdurig contact in toepassingen zonder verhoogd verwondingsgevaar (b.v. laboratorium) zijn handschoenen uit volgend materiaal geschikt: Nitrilrubber, Fluor rubber (Viton).
