Bij korte of geringe belasting ademfiltertoestel; bij intensieve resp. langdurige expositie een van de omringende lucht onafhankelijk ademhalingstoestel gebruiken. Een halfgelaatsmasker voor organische dampen en oplosmiddelen volgens EN140 type A1 of A2 wordt aanbevolen.
