It consists predominantly of satd. and unsatd. fatty alcohols having carbon numbers greater than C18, dimerization products, and long chain esters having carbon numbers greater than C32 and boils at > 250°C (482°F) at 10 torr.

Alcohols, C6 and C8-iso-, distn. residues A complex combination of hydrocarbons produced by the distillation of products from the hydrogenation of isohexanal and isooctanal from the hydroformylation of pentene and heptene. It consists predominantly of C6 and C8 primary aliphatic alcohols, C12 and C14 dimer alcohols, C>12 acetals and esters and C>10 acid sodium salts and boils in the range of approximately 150°C to 385°C (302°F to 725°F).

Alcohols, C16-18, distn. residues A complex residuum from the distillation of C16-18 alkyl alcohols. It consists predominantly of methyl alkylcarboxylates and alkyl alcohols.

Alcohols, C12-18, distn. residues A complex residuum from distillation of C12-18 alkyl alcohols. It consists predominantly of methyl alkylcarboxylates and alkyl alcohols.
