First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Move to fresh air in case of accidental inhalation of vapours.

Symptoms: Inhalation of high vapour concentrations may cause symptoms like headache, dizziness, tiredness, nausea and vomiting. Inhalation of vapours in high concentration can cause narcotic effects.

Skin contact

Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water.

Symptoms: May cause eye/skin irritation. Rapid evaporation of the liquid may cause frostbite.

Eye contact

Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes.

Symptoms: May cause eye/skin irritation. Rapid evaporation of the liquid may cause frostbite.

Ingestion

Do not induce vomiting. Summon a doctor immediately. Induce vomiting only upon the advice of a physician.
