Emergency First Aid Measures

Critical first aid procedures for chemical exposure incidents and medical emergencies

Inhalation Exposure

Move to fresh air in case of accidental inhalation of vapours.

Symptoms:

Inhalation of high vapour concentrations may cause symptoms like headache, dizziness, tiredness, nausea and vomiting. Inhalation of vapours in high concentration can cause narcotic effects.

Skin Contact

Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water.

Symptoms:

May cause eye/skin irritation. Rapid evaporation of the liquid may cause frostbite.

Eye Contact

Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes.

Symptoms:

May cause eye/skin irritation. Rapid evaporation of the liquid may cause frostbite.

Ingestion/Swallowing

Do not induce vomiting. Summon a doctor immediately. Induce vomiting only upon the advice of a physician.

Symptoms:

Attention. Beware, danger of aspiration.

Immediate Medical Attention Required

In the event of symptoms refer for medical treatment. Consult a doctor if skin irritation persists. If eye irritation persists, consult a specialist. Summon a doctor immediately.
