Identified Uses
The main role is to decrease friction between two touching and cooperating moving surfaces of mechanical devices, to grease many friction couples, high-speed bearings working at high temperatures, also in the high load (weight) conditions. It is used in the mechanical engineering and and the construction industry. The oil, thanks to its certain viscosity, covers frictioning surfaces with the smooth, slippery layer, preventing the elements from the direct contact and contributes to the lower energy consumption needed for keeping both elements in motion. Furthermore, the oil protects touching surfaces from tear and wear and corrosion, as well as from the harmful environmental influences on working elements. It also has many additional functions, which are specific to the certain oil and its application.

First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Remove an injured person out of contaminated environment. Lay an injured person in the recovery position. Provide warm and calm conditions. Loosen tight clothes. Provide sufficient ventilation. If breathing becomes difficult, provide artificial respiration or oxygen. Provide medical assistance.
Symptoms: Headache, dizziness, nausea and vomiting, agitation, fatigue, somnolence.
Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin with soap and water immediately. Consult a doctor.
Symptoms: Redness, dry skin, irritation; when using high pressure equipment may result in a subcutaneous injection.
Flush contaminated eyes thoroughly with water for 10-15 minutes, with open eyelids. Protect the unaffected eye, remove contact lenses. Consult an ophthalmologist.
Symptoms: Redness, tearing, burning, slight irritation.
Do not induce vomiting! The risk of aspiration in case of spontaneous vomiting. Maintain a clear airway. Rinse mouth with water. Consult a doctor or call an ambulance, show the container or label.
Symptoms: Abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting. Possible swelling of lungs and chemical pneumonia if stomach content enters lungs.
Immediate Medical Attention
In case of injury caused by high pressure, immediately seek medical attention.
Medical Treatment
The decision on how to conduct a rescue operation is made by a physician after a thorough examination of the injured. Treat symptomatically. Show the safety data sheet or label / packaging to the assisting medical personnel.
Firefighting Measures
Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection
fire fighting dry chemical powders, water spray, alcohol-resistant fire fighting foam, carbon dioxide.
concentrated stream of water – danger of fire spread. Avoid simultaneous application of foam and water on the same surface as the water destroys the foam.
Incomplete combustion often results in the formation of a complex mixture of solid and liquid particles floating in the air and gases, including carbon monoxide and other unidentified organic and inorganic mixtures. In the case of high concentrations of sulphur, combustion products may also contain H2S and SOx (sulphur oxides) or sulphuric acid.
Vessels endangered by fire should be cooled with water spray.
Firefighter Protection
Do not stay in the fire-threatened zone without appropriate chemical-resistant clothing and breathing apparatus with an independent air circulation.
Accidental Release Measures
Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection
Restrict the access of strangers to the area of failure until completion of the cleaning operation. In case of large spills, isolate the endangered area. Announce a ban on smoking and use of open flames, do not use sparking tools and garments from fabrics susceptible to electrification. Use personal protective equipment. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid creation of vapours / aerosols.
On water surface: for small spills into closed waters, control product using floating barriers or other equipment. Collect spilled product using special floating absorbents.
In case of large spills, isolate the endangered area. If possible, contain the large spills into open waters using floating barriers or other mechanical means.
In the case of release of large quantities of the product take steps to prevent the product from spreading in the environment. Secure the drains; do not let product enter them. Notify relevant emergency services.
Absorb spilled product with suitable, non-flammable materials. Collect unabsorbed product with available resources. Move the collected product and other contaminated materials to suitable tanks or containers for recovery or safe disposal.
Materials: suitable, non-flammable materials

Handling and Storage
Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements
Adhere to general rules and regulations of industrial as well as fire safety. Conduct a thorough assessment of risks associated with the inhalation of hydrogen sulphide in the gas phase in tanks, confined spaces, near remains of the product, waste inside the tank and sewage, as well as risks related to accidental release of this substance. Keep the product away from heat sources/sparks/open flame/hot surfaces – do not smoke. Use and store outside or in a well ventilated space only. Avoid contact with the product. Avoid release to the environment. Protect from electrostatic charges. Ground / secure containers, reservoirs and transmission / reception equipment. Use only non-sparking tools. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid inhalation of vapours. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Wash your hands thoroughly after working with the product. Remove contaminated clothing after the end of the work shift.
Store at a temperature lower than the flash point temperature. Keep away from oxidizing agents as well as acids and bases that cause container corrosion. Before entering storage tanks and taking any action in enclosed areas check oxygen content in the atmosphere and its flammability.
Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Wash your hands thoroughly after working with the product. Do not allow the accumulation of contaminated materials in the workplace. Remove contaminated clothing after the end of the work shift.
Keep the product away from heat sources/sparks/open flame/hot surfaces – do not smoke. Protect from electrostatic charges. Ground / secure containers, reservoirs and transmission / reception equipment. Use only non-sparking tools. Do not use compressed air for filling, emptying and maintenance.
Exposure Controls / PPE
Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment
Ensure general ventilation and / or local exhaust ventilation to maintain concentration of noxious agent in the air below the prescribed exposure limits. General ventilation exhausts should be located in the upper part of the room and by the floor, and local ventilation located at the working level or below. Local ventilation is essential in case of formation of mists and vapours.
Use appropriate chemical resistant gloves, particularly against aromatic hydrocarbons. Note: gloves made of polyvinyl acetate are not waterproof, therefore they are not suitable for use in emergencies. The glove material should be impermeable and resistant to the product. Selection of glove material must be made taking into account breakthrough, permeation and degradation times. Moreover, the selection of suitable gloves depends not only on the material but also qualitative features and varies depending on the manufacturer. The manufacturer should provide detailed information on the exact breakthrough time, which should be respected. It is recommended to change gloves regularly and replace them immediately if there are any signs of wear, damage or changes in their appearance (colour, flexibility, shape).
Use safety glasses in case of potential danger of eye contamination.
Does not require special protection, one should avoid inhaling product vapours. If there is a risk of exposure to concentrated vapours or creation of oil mist, use respiratory half mask or full mask with anti-dust/organic vapour filters, or a self-contained respiratory apparatus. If full assessment of circumstances is impossible or if there is a threat of oxygen deficiency, use exclusively a self-contained breathing apparatus.
Wear protective, antistatic clothing resistant to solvents.
Avoid direct infiltration into sewage/surface water. Do not contaminate surface water or drainage ditches with chemicals or used containers. Spilled product or uncontrolled spills to surface water should be reported to appropriate authorities in accordance with national and local regulations. Remove as chemical waste, according to national and local regulations.
