First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Remove individual to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration.

Symptoms: breathing becomes difficult or if respiratory irritation develops

Skin contact

Immediately flush skin with plenty of water for 15 minutes. If clothing comes in contact with the product, the clothing should be removed immediately and laundered before re-use.

Eye contact

Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.

Ingestion

Immediately drink water to dilute. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

Immediate Medical Attention

Seek medical attention if breathing becomes difficult or if respiratory irritation develops. Call for medical assistance. Seek medical attention immediately for eye contact. Seek medical attention for skin contact or if symptoms develop after ingestion.
