Obtain medical attention if oil mist is inhaled. Remove casualty to a well-ventilated place.

Symptoms: pulmonary irritation

Remove contaminated clothing and contaminated equipment and dispose of safely. Wash the skin with plenty of water and soap.

Rinse immediately with plenty of water. If eye irritation, blurred vision or swelling occurs and persists, consult a specialist.

Symptoms: eye irritation, blurred vision or swelling

Never give anything by mouth to a convulsing or unconscious person. Do not induce vomiting. Seek professional medical attention or send the casualty to the hospital.

Symptoms: slight nausea and diarrhea

Foam, dry powder, carbon dioxide, inert gasses and sand and for smaller fires a fire blanket.

Water, direct water jets.

Incomplete combustion can result in the production of carbon monoxide and possibly complex hydrocarbons.

Do not use direct water jets.

Wear suitable protective equipment (including personal protective equipment referred to prevent any contamination of skin, eyes and personal clothing).

Smaller spills can be cleaned up with absorbent material.

Larger contained spills can be pumped to suitable recipients.

In case of an accidental spill please keep the product contained as much as possible and prevent spillage into drains, prevent contamination with surface water and prevent seepage into the ground.

Collect free product with suitable means. Transfer product and other contaminated material used for the collection to suitable recipients for recycle, recovery or disposal.

Materials: absorbent material

Avoid skin contact and inhalation of oil mist. Wear protective equipment when needed. Do not ingest.

Protect the product against direct sunlight and store in a dry and well-ventilated area. Do not store the product for longer periods of time at temperatures lower than the pour-point.

Do not eat, drink and smoke in work areas. Wash hands after use and remove contaminated clothing and protective equipment before entering eating areas.

Prevent the buildup of static electricity and keep away from open fire or electrical discharges.

Ensure adequate ventilation.

Chemical resistant protective gloves (EN 374).

Tightly fitting safety goggles (EN166).

Oil mist: respirator (combined particle and organic vapor filter) (EN 529).

Protective clothing (antistatic), splash-proof chemical protective clothing when required.

Adequate loading/ unloading bays should be used where any spillage should be drained to dedicated tanks that are not directly linked to a sewage system. Collection of any spill should be done as quickly as possible.

The shelf life of the product is shortened when exposed to excessive heat and direct sunlight. Keep in a dry and well-ventilated area. A nitrogen blanket is not required for tank storage.

The product is inert under normal conditions.

No know reactions

Avoid excessive heat and direct sunlight. Avoid storage below pourpoint.

Contact with strong oxidizing agents and strong acids should be avoided.

Waste is to be considered and treated as hazardous waste according to 91/689/EEC.

Dispose of contents/container to qualified waste handlers in accordance with local regulation and national regulations.
