Emergency First Aid Measures
Critical first aid procedures for chemical exposure incidents and medical emergencies
๐ซ Inhalation Exposure
Upon breathing difficulties or irritation of the respiratory tract: Bring the person into fresh air and stay with him/her.
Symptoms:
Breathing difficulties or irritation of the respiratory tract.
๐๏ธ Skin Contact
Upon irritation: rinse with water. In the event of continued irritation, seek medical assistance.
Symptoms:
Irritation.
๐๏ธ Eye Contact
Upon irritation of the eye: Remove contact lenses. Flush eyes immediately with plenty of water or isotonic water (20-30 C) for at least 5 minutes and continue until irritation stops. Make sure to flush under upper and lower eyelids. If irritation continues, contact a doctor. Continue flushing during transport.
Symptoms:
Irritation of the eye.
๐ฝ๏ธ Ingestion/Swallowing
Provide plenty of water for the person to drink and stay with him/her. In case of malaise, seek medical advice immediately and bring the safety data sheet or label from the product. Have the person lean forward with head down to avoid inhalation of or choking on vomited material.
Symptoms:
Malaise.
๐จ Immediate Medical Attention Required
If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention. In case of malaise (ingestion), seek medical advice immediately and bring the safety data sheet or label from the product.
Medical Treatment
Bring this safety data sheet or the label from this product.

Exposure Controls & Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and required safety equipment
๐ญ Engineering Controls
Airborne gas and dust concentrations must be kept at a minimum. Provide efficient mechanical ventilation. If not possible use suitable respiratory equipment.
๐งค Hand Protection
Chemical-resistant, impervious gloves complying with an approved standard should be worn if a risk assessment indicates skin contact is possible. As specified for glove type specified through individual use risk assessment for material, glove thickness (mm), breakthrough time (min.), and standards.
๐๏ธ Eye Protection
Chemical splash goggles or face shield, if an in-use risk assessment specifies it is necessary. As determined by specific, an in-use risk assessment. Under normal domestic and professional use, standard safety spectacles are adequate.
๐ท Respiratory Protection
No specific requirements. If not possible to keep airborne gas and dust concentrations at a minimum, use suitable respiratory equipment.
๐ฆบ Skin/Body Protection
Standard fabric garments (e.g. cotton overcoat or apron). However, in a professional setting, an in-use risk assessment should determine what is suitable.
๐ Environmental Exposure Controls
Keep damming materials near the workplace. If possible, collect spillage during work. Keep container tightly sealed when not in use.
