First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Get medical advice/attention if you feel unwell.

Symptoms: At high concentrations, the vapours can be irritating to the respiratory system.

Skin contact

Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of water. Get medical advice/attention if you feel unwell.

Symptoms: Due to its pH-value (see chapter 9), irritation cannot be ruled out.

Eye contact

Rinse immediately with plenty of water for 15 minutes.

Symptoms: Due to its pH-value (see chapter 9), irritation of the skin and eyes cannot be ruled out.

Ingestion

If swallowed, rinse mouth with water (only if the person is conscious). Get immediate medical advice and attention.

Symptoms: May cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea.

Immediate Medical Attention

Get immediate medical advice and attention.
