First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

If breathed in, move person into fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Consult a physician.

Skin contact

Wash immediately with soap and plenty of cold water. Consult a physician.

Eye contact

Check for and remove any contact lenses. Flush with copious amounts of cold water for at least 15 minutes. Insure adequate flushing by separating the eyelids with fingers. Consult a physician.

Ingestion

Do not induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Rinse mouth with water. Consult a physician.
