Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration or give oxygen by trained personnel. Get immediate medical attention.

Symptoms: shortness of breath (dyspnea)

Immediately wash skin with soap and plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing. Get medical attention if symptoms occur. Wash clothing before reuse.

Hold eyelids apart and flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Have eyes examined and tested by medical personnel

Symptoms: blurry vision, burning sensation, redness, tearing, and vasodilation

Wash out mouth with water provided person is conscious. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical attention. Do NOT induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical personnel

Symptoms: gastrointestinal irritation with nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, and drowsiness

Water spray, foam, dry powder or carbon dioxide.

A solid water stream may be inefficient.

Vapors may cause a flash fire or ignite explosively. Vapors may travel considerable distance to a source of ignition and flash back. Prevent buildup of vapors or gases to explosive concentrations. May form peroxides of unknown stability.

Fight fire from a protected location. Water may be ineffective in fighting the fire. Use water spray to keep fire-exposed containers cool.

Keep people away from and upwind of spill/leak. Evacuate personnel to safe areas.

Avoid release to the environment.

Soak up with inert absorbent material. Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal.

Materials: inert absorbent material

Avoid breathing mists or vapors. Do not get in eyes and avoid contact with skin and clothing. Do not taste or swallow. Use only with adequate ventilation. Wash thoroughly after handling. Minimize exposure to air. After opening, purge container with nitrogen before reclosing. Periodically test for peroxide formation on long-term storage. Do not allow to evaporate to near dryness. Do not distill to near dryness. Addition of water or appropriate reducing materials will lessen peroxide formation.

Keep container tightly closed and in a well-ventilated place. Store away from heat and light. Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs.

Wash thoroughly after handling.

Store away from heat.

Ensure adequate ventilation, especially in confined areas. Use explosion-proof electrical/ventilating/lighting/equipment. Ensure that eyewash stations and safety showers are close to the workstation location

Wear appropriate protective eyeglasses or chemical safety goggles as described by OSHA's eye and face protection regulations in 29 CFR 1910.133 or European Standard EN166

Follow the OSHA respirator regulations found in 29 CFR 1910.134 or European Standard EN 149. Use a NIOSH/MSHA or European Standard EN 149 approved respirator if exposure limits are exceeded or if irritation or other symptoms are experienced

Long sleeved clothing.

Stable under normal conditions

Under normal conditions of storage and use, hazardous reactions will not occur. Hazardous polymerization will not occur.

Avoid all possible sources of ignition (spark or flame). Do not pressurize, cut, weld, braze, solder, drill, grind or expose containers to heat or sources of ignition. Do not allow vapor to accumulate in low or confined areas.

Oxidizing agents, reducing agent, acid and alkalis, moisture.

Thermal decomposition is highly dependent on conditions. Carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and other organic compounds will be evolved when this material undergoes combustion or thermal or oxidative degradation. May form explosive peroxides.
