First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Move to fresh air. If irritation persists or there is any trouble breathing, get immediate medical attention.

Skin contact

Wash off contamination with plenty of water. If symptoms develop or persist seek medical advice.

Eye contact

Undiluted Product: In case of eye contact, IMMEDIATELY rinse eyes thoroughly with plenty of water. Remove any contact lenses and continue rinsing eyes for at least 15 minutes. Keep unnecessary personnel away. Do not touch or walk through spilled material. Do not touch damaged containers or spilled material unless wearing appropriate protective clothing. Keep people away from and upwind of spill/leak.

Small spill

Small spillages of up to 1 litre (0.26 gallon) may be cleaned up with a mop or an absorbant cloth. Medium spills of up to 5 litres (1.32 gallons) should be absorbed with sand, earth, sawdust or other inert material and transferred to a suitable container for disposal. Never return spills in original containers for re-use.

Prevent large spills from entering sewers or drains.

Environmental

Do not discharge into lakes, streams, ponds or public waters. Advise authorities if product has penetrated drains, sewers or water pipes.
