First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, oxygen should be administered by qualified personnel. Move to fresh air.
Symptoms: Asthmatic-type symptoms may develop and may be immediate or delayed up to several hours. Extreme asthmatic reactions can be life threatening.
Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Wipe off paste with paper towel or cloth. Rinse with running water and soap. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Thoroughly clean shoes before reuse. Discard any shoes or clothing items that cannot be decontaminated.
Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes.
DO NOT induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical personnel. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
Immediate Medical Attention
Seek medical attention immediately (for eye contact and ingestion). If symptoms persist, seek medical advice (for inhalation).
Firefighting Measures
Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection
Use extinguishing measures appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment. Foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide.
Do not use high volume water jet.
At higher temperatures isocyanate may be released. Sealed containers at elevated temperatures or contaminated with water may rupture explosively.
Keep containers cool with water spray. Keep unnecessary personnel away.
Firefighter Protection
Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing, such as turn-out gear.
Accidental Release Measures
Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection
Use personal protection recommended in Section 8, isolate the hazard area and deny entry to unnecessary and unprotected personnel. Evacuate and ventilate spill area; dike spill to prevent entry into water system; wear full protective equipment during clean-up.
Cover spill area with suitable absorbent material. Saturate absorbent material with neutralization solution and mix. Wait 15 minutes. Collect material in open-head metal containers. Repeat applications of decontamination solution with scrubbing, followed by absorbent until surface is decontaminated. Check for surface contamination using suitable test kit. Apply lid loosely and allow containers to vent for 72 hours to let carbon dioxide (CO2) escape.
Large quantities may be pumped into closed, but not sealed containers for disposal.
Do not empty into drains / surface water / ground water.
Remove all sources of ignition. Evacuate and ventilate spill area; dike spill to prevent entry into water system; wear full protective equipment during clean-up.
Materials: suitable absorbent material, neutralization solution, decontamination solution

Handling and Storage
Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements
Prevent contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Do not breathe vapor and mist. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection.
Store original or opened drums absolutely dry and always close it air-tight. Keep container tightly closed and in a cool, well-ventilated place away from incompatible materials. Keep from freezing. Protect from direct sunlight.
Wash thoroughly after handling.
Exposure Controls / PPE

Physical and Chemical Properties
Appearance, physical state, melting point, boiling point, and material characteristics
Stability and Reactivity
Chemical stability, hazardous reactions, and incompatible materials
Stable under normal conditions of storage and use.
Not available.
Exothermic. Polymerization may occur at elevated temperature or in the presence of incompatible materials.
Avoid moisture. Contamination with water. Extremes of temperature and direct sunlight. Container can be pressurised by carbon dioxide due to reaction with humid air and/or water. Protect from direct sunlight. Do not freeze.
Water. Moisture. Humid air and/or water will produce carbon dioxide which will pressurize the container. Amines. Alcohols. Strong acids and strong bases.
Upon decomposition, this product may yield gaseous nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and/or low molecular weight hydrocarbons. Hydrogen cyanide. Isocyanate vapors
