First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Allow affected person to breathe fresh air. Keep victim at rest in half upright position.

Symptoms: Cough. Shortness of breath.

Skin contact

Rinse immediately contaminated clothing and skin with plenty of water before removing clothes. Get medical advice/attention.

Symptoms: Redness, pain. Burns.

Eye contact

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Contact ophthalmologist immediately.

Ingestion

Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. Take to hospital.
