First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Move the exposed person to fresh air at once. Provide fresh air, warmth and rest, preferably in a comfortable upright sitting position. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.
Symptoms: high concentration of vapours or mists may cause irritation of the mucous membranes of the eyes and respiratory tract, tearing, redness, conjunctivitis, coughing, burning sensation in throat and nose.
Immediately remove contaminated clothing. Wash the skin with soap and water. Contaminated clothing should be washed before re-use. Consult a doctor, if disturbing symptoms occur.
Symptoms: possible redness, dryness, degreasing, slight irritation.
Make sure to remove any contact lenses from the eyes before rinsing. Promptly wash eyes with plenty of water while lifting the eye lids. Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes. Consult a doctor, if disturbing symptoms occur.
Symptoms: tearing, redness, irritation.
Immediately rinse mouth. Do not induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Seek medical advice. Provide ventilation.
Symptoms: possible abdominal pains, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea.
Immediate Medical Attention
Consult a doctor if disturbing symptoms occur or if discomfort continues.
Medical Treatment
Treat symptomatically.
