First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Provide enough fresh air and seek medical attention.

Symptoms: The high dust exposure may cause irritation of the lungs. Large amounts of blasting medium can block the airways.

Skin contact

Clean skin for 10 minutes under running water.

Eye contact

In case of eye irritation, rinse the opened eyes with plenty of water for 15 minutes.

Symptoms: Occasionally grains can be restrained by the eye fluid.

Ingestion

Rinse mouth with water.

Symptoms: No reactions known, non-toxic. Swallowing of large amounts can cause bodily harm or discomfort.

Immediate Medical Attention

In case of persistent problems consult an eye specialist.

05

Firefighting Measures
