First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Remove to fresh air. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
Wash off with soap and water. If skin irritation persists, call a physician.
Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water, also under the eyelids. If eye irritation persists, consult a specialist.
Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If symptoms persist, call a physician. If vomiting occurs, the head should be kept low so that vomit does not enter the lungs.
Medical Treatment
Treat symptomatically.
Firefighting Measures
Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection
Use water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide.
High volume water jet
Vapors may produce explosive mixtures with air at temperatures over the flash point. The vapour may be invisible, heavier than air and spread along ground.
Cool closed containers exposed to fire with water spray.
Firefighter Protection
In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus. Choose protective equipment according to size of fire.
Accidental Release Measures
Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection
Use personal protective equipment. Ensure adequate ventilation. Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system. Avoid subsoil penetration.
Absorb with liquid-binding material (sand, diatomite, acid binders, universal binders). Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal.
Materials: sand, diatomite, acid binders, universal binders
