First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Remove to fresh air. If breathing is irregular or stopped, administer artificial respiration. If unconscious place in recovery position. Consult a physician after significant exposure.
Wash off immediately with plenty of water. If skin irritation persists, call a physician.
Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids. If eye irritation persists, consult a specialist.
Clean mouth with water and drink afterwards plenty of water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Do NOT induce vomiting. If a person vomits when lying on his back, place him in the recovery position. Call a physician immediately.
Medical Treatment
Treat symptomatically.
Firefighting Measures
Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection
Use water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide.
High volume water jet
Vapours are heavier than air and may spread along floors. Vapours may form explosive mixtures with air. Flash back possible over considerable distance.
Cool closed containers exposed to fire with water spray.
Firefighter Protection
In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus. Wear personal protective equipment.
Accidental Release Measures
Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection
Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system. Avoid subsoil penetration.
collect with non-combustible absorbent material

Handling and Storage
Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements
Keep container tightly closed. Ensure adequate ventilation. Use personal protective equipment. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Do not breathe vapours or spray mist. Emergency eye wash fountains and emergency showers should be available in the immediate vicinity.
Keep tightly closed in a dry and cool place. Keep away from direct sunlight. Keep in a well-ventilated place.
Keep away from food, drink and animal feedingstuffs. Smoking, eating and drinking should be prohibited in the application area. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of workday. Take off all contaminated clothing immediately.
Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking. Take measures to prevent the build up of electrostatic charge.
Exposure Controls / PPE
Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment
Refer to protective measures listed in sections 7 and 8.
Protective gloves complying with EN 374. Please observe the instructions regarding permeability and breakthrough time which are provided by the supplier of the gloves. Also take into consideration the specific local conditions under which the product is used, such as the danger of cuts, abrasion, and the contact time. Protective gloves should be replaced at first signs of wear. For prolonged or repeated contact, a glove with a protection index of 5 or higher is recommended (breakthrough time >240 minutes according to DIN EN 374). If contact is only brief, a glove with a protection index of 1 or higher is recommended (breakthrough time >10 minutes in accordance with DIN EN 374). Material: butyl-rubber. Break through time: >= 8 h. Glove thickness: 0,5 mm. Material: ethyl vinyl alcohol laminate (EVAL). Material: Neoprene. Material: Nitrile.
