First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
When inhaled remove to fresh air and seek medical aid.
In case of contact with skin wash off immediately with soap and water.
Remove contact lenses. Rinse eye thoroughly under running water keeping eyelids wide open and protecting the unaffected eye (at least 10 to 15 minutes).
Seek medical attention. Do not induce vomiting. Rinse the mouth thoroughly with water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
Symptoms: In the case of swallowing with subsequent vomiting, aspiration of the lungs can occur which can lead to chemical pneumonia or asphyxiation.
Firefighting Measures
Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection
Carbon dioxide; Water spray jet; Alcohol-resistant foam; Extinguishing powder
High power water jet
In the event of fire, the following can be released: Carbon dioxide (CO2); Carbon monoxide (CO)
Cool endangered containers with water spray jet.
Firefighter Protection
Use self-contained breathing apparatus. Wear protective clothing.
Accidental Release Measures
Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection
Ensure adequate ventilation. Remove persons to safety.
Do not allow to enter drains or waterways. Do not discharge into the subsoil/soil.
Pick up with absorbent material
Materials: absorbent material (e.g. kieselguhr)

Handling and Storage
Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements
Risks inherent to handling the product must be minimised by applying the appropriate protective and preventive measures. Working processes should - so far as possible, according to the state of the art - be designed to rule out bodily contact or the release of hazardous substances. Avoid eye, skin and clothing contact. Avoid formation of aerosols.
Keep container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place. Stabilizer may loose effectiveness by long-term storage of product. Protect from light. Keep container tightly closed. Containers which are opened must be carefully closed and kept upright to prevent leakage.
Wash hands and skin before breaks and after work. Remove soiled or soaked clothing immediately. Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Provide eye wash fountain in work area. Do not inhale vapours. Do not eat or drink during work - no smoking.
Keep away from sources of ignition - refrain from smoking. Take precautionary measures against static charges.
Exposure Controls / PPE
Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment
Protective gloves (EN 374); Before use, the protective gloves should be tested in any case for its specific workstation suitability (i.e. mechanical resistance, product compatibility and antistatic properties). Adhere to the manufacturer's instructions and information relating to the use, storage, care and replacement of protective gloves. Protective gloves shall be replaced immediately when physically damaged or worn. Design operations thus to avoid permanent use of protective gloves. Appropriate Material: Fluorocarbon rubber (Viton); Material thickness: 0.4 mm; Breakthrough time: > 480 min
Tightly fitting safety glasses (EN 166).
Respiratory protection is required under exceptional conditions such as unintentional release of chemicals, exceeding of threshold values for air. In case of aerosol and mist formation, take appropriate measures for breathing protection in the event workplace threshold values are not specified. Respirator A
Chemical-resistant work clothes.
